The Hungarian Engineers Welcome Europe
This website accompanies the exhibition in Brussels, the heart of the European Union of some of the abstracts of the Hungarian engineering innovations: an entrepot of products and inventions, both world-renown and hidden treasures, all created by Hungarian engineering work. This is an introduction, a discovery and a rediscovery at the same time: it shows products of various crafts that were born as the result of engineering thinking.
I am proud to say that the works of the Hungarian engineers were landmarks on the international scientific level as well. The visitor of the exhibition and of this website can see the distinguished treasures of the past, the values that the talent and diligence of the Hungarian engineers contributed to the global culture and technical civilization. The visitor can also see the magnificent creations of the present from which the hopefully promising shapes of the future emerge.
I wish that the reader, while surfing through the website, will be inclined to visit the exhibition where they could see that the Hungarian engineers stood and still stand their ground in the global competition and that Europe can count on the Hungarian engineering knowledge.
I hope that our exhibition attracts the attention of the European public to the creations of the community of the Hungarian engineers who possess a wide range of knowledge and innovation skills.
I hope that once, in addition to the exhibited pieces, the results and possibilities of the Hungarian innovations will be known, it will provide for further engineering collaboration, for the sake of our common European future.
